Overview
Do you have experience working in a medical office? Are you interested in pursuing a career in audiology? If you are intrigued by technology, love to help people, and have excellent computer skills, we have an opportunity for you to serve in our community. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by providing exceptional patient service and assisting with various administrative tasks. On the job training provided!

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding patient service to patients on instruction on use, care and maintenance.
  • Perform hearing aid services including troubleshooting, in-house repair and maintenance.
  • Responsible for shipping/receiving/ordering and inventory or hearing aid devices and accessories.
  • Prepare patient materials including appropriate forms, documentation, and products.
  • Interacting with insurance companies to obtain benefits for devices.
  • Maintain organized records and files related to patient care and administrative functions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to facilitate smooth operations within the office or clinic.
  • Opportunity to cross train for front desk coverage, which will include patient scheduling and customer service, both in person and over the phone.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
