We are building our presence in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions and areseeking an Environmental Compliance Technical Specialist withexperience in multi-media environmental compliance and permitting toassist us in our continued growth supporting energy, industrial, and otherclients. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with a range ofdynamic and diverse projects with our clients throughout the U.S. This isa full-time position which can be in one of ourMid-Atlantic or Southeast area offices, or virtually .

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:

  • Leadenvironmental compliance projects.
  • Collaboratewith colleagues to support client relationships and business development.
  • Understandclient needs and execute projects to achieve client goals.
  • Coordinatewith clients and regulators to support projects throughout the U.S.
  • UnderstandFederal and state environmental regulations and to evaluate and interpretrequirements as they apply to our clients.
  • Becapable of managing financial and technical aspects of projects.
  • Beeffective in assigning and managing work
  • Executeprojects to meet technical, quality, budgetary and schedulingrequirements.
  • Prepareproject deliverables including reports, plans and specifications.
  • Demonstratevery strong verbal communications and written skills including clientdeliverables and regulatory submittals.
  • Demonstratestrong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Performall work in accordance with company and client Health & Safetyprotocols.
  • Complywith Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our CompanyCharter.
  • Sometravel may be required.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • BS inchemical or environmental engineering, environmental science, or relateddiscipline; MS degree preferred.
  • 10+years of related work experience.
  • Technicalreport writing skills.
  • Communicationskills and ability to collaborate with others in a consulting environment.
  • Strongattention to detail with excellent analytical, judgment, andproblem-solving capabilities.
  • Understandingof common industrial activities and the relationship with variousenvironmental media/regulations (e.g., air, wastewater, regulated waste,EPCRA, tanks).
  • Workingknowledge of MS Word, Excel and other standard software; GIS or CADexperience a plus.
