Job Description

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Mechanical Inspector-A1/B1 to join their team. The ideal candidate will have - • Knowledge of SPC software, preferably Prolink QC-Calc
• Ability to program smart scope software, preferably QVI Zone 3, Measuremind 3D and Zeiss Calypso
• Understanding of measurement theory and practices

Job Title: Mechanical Inspector-day shift 630am to 630pm

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: 21/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform quality inspections of sub-assemblies, final products, and commodities, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Utilize hand gauges for precise measurements and inspections.
• Recognize and communicate deviations from accepted quality practices.
• Create robust inspection plans and routines for molded components and validations.
• Conduct First Article and Validation Inspections, and analyze statistical data using SPC software.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience performing measurement inspections in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Plastic Processing and cGMP.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with SPC software.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and specifications meticulously.
