Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Non-CDL Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials using company vehicles that do not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). This role involves ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining the vehicle in good working condition, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate non-CDL trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods to various locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and protected from damage.
• Follow assigned routes and adhere to delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts and logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that arise.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies during the course of work.
• Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no controlled substance arrests/convictions.
• Valid/ Current DOT Medical card
• Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role preferred.
• Ability to operate non-CDL trucks and related equipment safely, securing the cargo properly.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for vehicle operation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations or changes in schedule.

• Working Conditions:

• Work involves loading and unloading cargo, and interacting with customers.
• May be required to work in various weather conditions.
• Weekend or evening work may be required based on delivery schedules.
