Job Description Position Purpose: Our ideal candidate will provide assistance and coverage to the Quality and Compliance Director as well as fulfill the role of developing and implementing the Quality Assurance program for farm areas and professional services
Key Responsibilities: - Implement and maintain a Quality Assurance program for farm areas including but not limited to SOPs, audits, documentation, verification, non-compliance reporting and continuous improvement plans for the following areas across the company: Recips, Donors, Calf Site, Vet Services, PST/V (more areas to be added if needed)
- Identify procedure and equipment risks and mitigate risk as efficiently and thoroughly as possible
- Create new SOPs where needed and continuously update existing SOPs
- Create reports and workflows for information sharing, updates and training
- Provide spot-audits on other Trans Ova functions outside of farms, including lab and PSE
- Participate and present in BQA program
- Coordinate with managers for identification of qualifying Corrective Actions and Change Controls and follow through to completion, working to hold team members and managers accountable
- In-person Location auditing at least once per year
- Analyze data including low preg rates and occurrence of LOS and implement system for reporting of issues, problem identification, prevention and client follow up.
- Work independently with team members throughout Trans Ova, record findings, follow-up, and report findings to director as well as troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
- Requires ability to prioritize tasks and shift quickly as new tasks arise
- Learn and become proficient user, administrator and trainer on the QT9 quality software (or other quality programs)
Education Requirements: - Advanced degree is preferred but not required
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in either Quality Assurance or knowledge of the Trans Ova farm areas and system is a plus, but is not required
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: - Ability to travel. May require 25% or more of travel to TOG farms
- Able to handle stressful situations and/or individuals in a constructive manner
