A s a QuickBooks Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, proficiency in QuickBooks software, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize QuickBooks software to accurately record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  2. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  3. Prepare invoices and track payments from clients.
  4. Process vendor bills, verify accuracy, and input payments in a timely manner.
  5. Continue to maintain orderly financial filing systems and ensure documentation is organized and accessible.
  6. Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to support decision-making processes.
  7. Assist with the preparation of financial statements for tax filings and audits.
  8. Collaborate with the auditing team to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline financial operations.
  9. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  10. Provide support to other team members as needed and perform tasks/projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or similar role, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
  2. Advanced knowledge in QuickBooks software.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  5. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  7. High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
  8. Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) are a plus.
  9. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
