Registered Nurse - Free-Standing Emergency Room

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Shift: Full-Time

Trusted Staffe is seeking an exceptional Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our partner hospital's Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) in Tallahassee, FL. We're looking for a dynamic, adaptable RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and is ready to make a difference in a crucial healthcare setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Triage, Assess, and Treat: Provide comprehensive care to a wide range of patients, from minor injuries to critically ill individuals, across all ages.

Personalized Care Plans: Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, prioritizing needs and adjusting strategies as required.

Multitasking and Prioritization: Efficiently manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing general nursing care while continually assessing and prioritizing patient needs.

Collaboration: Work seamlessly with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.

Patient Education: Deliver clear and concise follow-up care instructions to patients and their families, and make necessary referrals for continued care.

Safety Focus: Maintain a constant focus on patient safety and well-being, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Registered Nurse Diploma.

Experience: 1 year of recent acute care ER RN experience is required.

Licensure: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, have a multistate license, or be able to obtain licensure before starting.

Certifications:

BLS certification is required before the employment start date.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ACLS Instructor certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PALS Instructor certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.

Compensation and Benefits:

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
