We are growing and there has never been a more exciting time to join us! We are currently recruiting for a Mig Welder. This role will be based at Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) in Mason City, Iowa.

Pay will vary depending on experience. Know someone you would recommend, send them our way and we will pay you an employee referral finder’s fee! 

You would also:

• Grind, seam weld and/or full welding of doors and frames in a timely fashion
• Grind frames to prepare them for paint
• Identify hardware preps and anchors on the frames
• Actively participate in providing a safe working environment for all employees
• Comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
• Perform other duties and special projects as required
• Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct

The Skills and Experience you need :

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous welding knowledge
• Ability to carry 5-30 pounds regularly
• Ability to read manufacturing or shop drawings and a tape measure
• Previous working knowledge or desire to learn hand tools and hardware
• Available to work overtime
